Description

The Site is a small hillock and the Client wanted a hotel as an extension to the adjacent existing establishment which is a building with some rooms and a restaurant. We proposed that it should be a Tourist Resort.
 
Our objective was to make a structure that would blend with the slope so that the natural contours of the Site remain undisturbed. Thus we came up with sections so that the balconies of the guest rooms overlooking horizon form an interesting façade for the building. Some of these balconies are covered and some open and we also played around with the solid and void ratio such that one could truly experience being in connected to the nature.
 
As the structure came up the Client interfered too much with the design which we could not really accept and so he left and finished off in his own style. But the main structure and planning is ours.
