Description

This residence was designed for a typical businessman, in such a way that it fulfilled his basic needs. The site area is 6.5 katha and the building is 2.5 storied. The approach that we took to design the built form and the spaces was simple and straight forward. We brought in green spaces inside the building form, in order to bring forth the feeling of the nature which on experiences even closed. We wanted the architecture to blend in with nature in the most harmonious way as possible. The treatment of the front elevation, the merging of green etc was our way to play with the architecture, bring a balance of drama and rhythm to it. The Outdoor space was provided with a good landscape design, small water body with fishes brought it to life. Sculpture, paintings from Mr. Alak Roy were also brought in and placed in such a way to make the landscape more interesting.
